How you can help
As a growing charitable organisation there are many ways you can get involved and help, not just financial.
Office Staff
Can you donate a little time each week? DDIC is always looking for volunteers to train in the office.
Events Organisers
Do you love to organise and plan events, why not put your talents to good use and help us organise our ongoing fundraising events.
Donations & Sponsorships
Our staff are all voluntary, but we do still have ongoing costs in the day to day running of a charitable organisation, if you would like to donate or sponsor us we are always incredibly grateful for all donations.
Corporate Sponsors
We are very grateful to the organisations that have supported us locally and nationally over the years. Many Kent businesses have experienced the difference we make in the local area and have since provided advice, voluntary, in-kind support or match funding, having a direct impact on how we improve the lives of people with any kind of disability.
Whether you are an independent or a local branch, part of a team or manage one, if you want your business to be more involved with the community, we can work together to change the lives of those who do not always feel a part of it.
Examples of ways in which your business could support us, include:
- keeping collection tins
- donating resources
- offering reduced fees for resources
- fundraising for our next event
- volunteering at the advice centre
Thanet Community Lotto
We are a registered charitable organisation on the Thanet community lotto, so if you would like to sponsor us and be in with a chance of winning 25k as well as donating 60% of your ticket to a charitable organisation, please head on over to our thanet commity lotto page
If you would like to be involved with any of the above, or have thought of something completely different you could offer, please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
